Image classification from raw photos to reviewable results
Plan the collection, transformations, evaluation groups, and review process behind a meaningful visual classification.
Read the guide ↗Explore visual research records through provenance, acquisition context, annotation, and careful separation of observation from interpretation.
When a research workflow uses imagery, keep each visual connected to its source material and acquisition context. Record preparation, transformations, and the meaning of annotations. A cropped panel or model label may be useful for discussion but should not replace the underlying record. Do not infer clinical efficacy or safety from a visual result alone.
Before comparing images across conditions, ask whether preparation, capture, and processing were comparable. Document unresolved differences rather than smoothing them away with a uniform thumbnail layout. Keep reviewer judgments separate from automated labels. Our imagery guides are educational and do not offer pharmaceutical image analysis, validated assays, laboratory services, or commercial research partnerships.
